Qualified Social Worker – Referral and Assessment – West Berkshire

An exciting new opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker / Experienced Social Worker to join a Children and Families Initial Assessment Team based in West Berkshire. This role is on a permanent basis.

This opportunity would particularly suit a Qualified Social Worker who is seeking a new challenge with a modern and supportive service where the service users are at the forefront of their agenda.

As a Qualified Social Worker you will be responsible for the initial assessment of cases within particular time scales and working with vulnerable children on short term case work.

Experience Required

- Could suit recently qualified
- Degree, post graduate or Professional Qualification in Social Work
- GSCC Registration
- Ability to carry out Section 47 inquiries
- Clear CRB disclosure or Ability to receive a clear CRB Disclosure
- Statutory experience in Children’s Services
- Car driver essential
