Charles Hunter Associates is a specialist recruitment firm for contract staff and is currently working with the West Berkshire County Council to recruit Qualified Social Workers / Experienced Social Workers for their Long Term Children’s team.

Based in Newbury the hiring council is well known for its excellent quality of service, supportive management teams and well managed caseloads. The role will involve carrying out core assessments, child protection investigations, working with court cases and attending meetings with external agencies.

We are looking for applications from Qualified Social Workers / Experienced Social Workers with experience in frontline children’s services. You will have excellent knowledge and practice experience in child protection procedures, assessments and children’s services. It offers a long term post which provides excellent support from higher management.
